HE knows Life
They said—
And I went up
and opened the book of life.
There on the first line
Was written in what he knows
of life—
And on that first page
Were a million other lines
And in that book
Were a myriad other pages
and the press of life
Was busy with new leaves
And yet
“He knows Life .. .”
They said.
