Early South Asian Women Writers (1870-1930)
Some of these may be familiar to readers -- writers like Cornelia Sorabji achieved considerable success and were highly visible in their time. More recently, Rokeya Hossain's Sultana's Dream -- a feminist utopia -- has become a widely read text. And readers may also be familiar with Toru Dutt.
However, there are some other writers whose works will be featured here who may be less familiar. One such is Krupabai Satthianadhan.
