"Tar Baby": Maps and Data
The map above is derived from Voyant Tools' "Dreamscape" viewer. The locations are a bit approximate and some editing had to be performed in order for the fictional island in the novel (Dominique) to render as a location the software would recognize. However, hopefully the map above does give some indication of the broad geographic scope of Tar Baby, a novel with a strong basis in New York, Philadelphia, and the Caribbean, but also allusions to France (where Jadine works as a fashion model).
