Naga Writers / Writers from the Naga Community


Naga is a name for writers from related communities in northeastern India, especially Nagaland and Manipur. There are thought to be 2.5 million people who are classified as Nagas. Where known, we try to specify which Naga tribe a writer may belong to (for instance, Temsula Ao is an Ao Naga poet).
