It was published between 1972 and 1977. It was published both in English and in Chinese. As with Bridge, the magazine follows somewhat of a learning curve with respect to Asian American identity issues. Its earliest issues focus exclusively on Chinese American issues and the crisis facing Philadelphia's Chinatown as it was on the verge of being 'redeveloped'. Subsequently, a sizable number of articles on other Asian American communities would be included in the magazine.
