• Campbell Hall Victory. By Hat. Weasel, Idnian, Suzi, Etc. An update on the question of whether the Ethnic Studies programs would be moved from Campbell Hall. This report states that the Chancellor had decided not to move the programs from Campbell Hall. 
• Dawn of Awakening. By Mike Murase. An account of a junior JACL conference in Santa Cruz. Mention is made of the Yellow Brotherhood (Mike Yamaki), and a performance of a play called "Alice in Yellowland." 
• Noguchi. Unsigned. An account of the acquittal of Thomas Noguchi and his reinstatement as LA Coroner. 
• The Failure of Democracy in a Time of Crisis. By Isao Fujimoto, UC Davis. A detailed historical essay on the Japanese internment. (Reprinted in Roots: an Asian American Reader)
